Welcome to Recreation centre 'de Adelhof'

If you want to get in shape, get away from the noise of the city or just have fun with your loved ones – give us a try! The Adelhof bungalow park is suitable for both young and old and is located in the forests of Drenthe.

The province of Drenthe is a popular holiday area for people who would like to avoid the summer heat and prefer the long walks in the forest, bicycle tourism or horse riding. The beauty of the landscape is equaled by the magic of the ancient culture of the region. Walking through the age-old farmyards and villages you will have the feeling that time stands still.

The Adelhof Recreation Center is a pleasant park with campsites and 47 bungalows located along the winding roads. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly; members of all ages are warmly welcomed, whatever their ability and level of fitness.

If a bungalow complex is a new experience, the recreation center staff is there to provide help and encouragement.

There is a centrally located fishpond and a playground for children. Less than a kilometer away lays the beautiful village of Vledder, with many interesting sights. In this area you can also find wonderful hiking and cycling routes that take you through deciduous and coniferous forests and past moors, fens, picturesque villages, dolmens and museums. In July and August there is a market in Vledder which is definitely worth a visit.

Drenthe is known for its diverse and vibrant nature. The region where the park is located has had a clear contribution to its image. This part of the province is one of the most diverse and valuable rural areas of the Netherlands.

The peat colonies, ancient landscapes, and national parks such as Dwingelderveld and Drents Friese Wold are just a few of the many unique areas.
